Gov AbdulRazaq Felicitates Ex-diplomat, ODU President, Statesman Dr. Afolabi

Kwara State Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq joins family, friends, and the people of Omupo in Ifelodun Local Government to congratulate a distinguished diplomat and statesman Dr. Monisoye Sola Afolabi on his birthday today, October 10, 2024.

This is contained in a statement signed by Rafiu Ajakaye,  Chief Press Secretary to the Governor and made available to newsmen in Ilorin on Thursday

Dr. Afolabi was the pioneer Director of the Community Computer Centre of the ECOWAS.

He also served as Director of Business Environment at the USAID West Africa Trade Hub in Accra, Ghana, and Acting Deputy Executive Secretary of ECOWAS in charge of integration programme, among others.

The Governor commended the former ECOWAS official for a life of service to the community, Nigeria, and West African subregion where he served with dignity and commitment to public good.

He asked God Almighty God to grant Dr. Afolabi more years of good health and happiness.

Dr Afolabi is the current National President of Omupo Descendants Union (ODU), home and abroad.
