Alabi Felicitates Muslims on Eid-el-Maulud, Urges Nigerians to Embrace Peace and Unity

A stalwart of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and community leader in Kwara State, Dr Oluwatoyin Tajudeen Alabi (AOT), has felicitated with Muslims across the state and Nigeria on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Maulud celebration.
Dr Alabi, in a goodwill message, described the celebration of the birth of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) as an important occasion for Muslims to reflect on the virtues of peace, compassion, humility, tolerance and service to humanity.
He urged Muslims to use the occasion to renew their commitment to the teachings and exemplary life of the Holy Prophet, particularly his emphasis on peaceful coexistence, justice, honesty and care for the less privileged.
According to him, Nigeria needs greater unity, mutual understanding and religious tolerance to overcome its present challenges and build a prosperous future for all citizens.
He called on political, religious and community leaders to continue promoting peace and harmony, stressing that development could only thrive in an atmosphere of stability and cooperation.
Dr Alabi also urged Nigerians to remain supportive of the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, saying that the country’s ongoing reforms and development efforts require collective patience, understanding and constructive participation.
He expressed optimism that the country would emerge stronger and more prosperous, urging citizens to continue to pray for peace, security and progress in Nigeria.
“On this auspicious occasion of Eid-el-Maulud, I extend my warmest greetings and felicitations to our Muslim brothers and sisters in Kwara State and across Nigeria.
“May the celebration remind us of the virtues of love, sacrifice, peaceful coexistence, compassion and service to humanity which the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) exemplified.
“I pray that Almighty Allah will continue to bless our state and our nation, grant our leaders wisdom and strengthen the bonds of unity among our people,” he said.
Dr Alabi wished the Muslim faithful a peaceful and spiritually rewarding Eid-el-Maulud celebration, praying that the occasion would bring renewed hope, blessings and prosperity to families and communities across the country.
