AOT felicitates Elesa of Oke-Ode on Birthday, describes him as major pillar of stability, cultural pride in Kwara South

Dr. Alabi Oluwatoyin Tajudeen (AOT), has described the Oba Mufutau Ibrahim Akanbi Adebayo as a major pillar of stability and cultural pride in Kwara South, as the revered monarch marked his birthday anniversary.

In a message commemorating the occasion, Dr. Alabi noted that the Elesa has continued to play a significant role in promoting peace, strengthening traditional values, and encouraging communal development within Oke-Ode Kingdom.

The governorship hopeful said the monarch’s leadership has remained exemplary at a time when traditional rulers are increasingly expected to serve as mediators, moral voices, and custodians of social harmony in their communities.

According to him, Oba Adebayo has consistently demonstrated the qualities of a forward-looking monarch through his commitment to unity, justice, and the well-being of his people.

“Kabiyesi’s reign has remained a source of stability, wisdom, and inspiration to the people. His fatherly leadership and commitment to peace have continued to strengthen the traditional institution and the development of Oke-Ode Kingdom,” AOT stated.

Dr. Alabi further observed that the monarch’s influence goes beyond ceremonial responsibilities, stressing that his contributions to community cohesion and cultural preservation have earned him widespread admiration across Kwara State.

He noted that the birthday celebration provides an opportunity for the people to reflect on the monarch’s enduring impact and his dedication to the growth and progress of his domain.

The AOT governorship hopeful also commended the Elesa for sustaining an atmosphere of peaceful coexistence and mutual respect among the people, describing such leadership as essential for community advancement and grassroots development.

“The strength of every society lies in the quality of leadership it enjoys at both political and traditional levels. Kabiyesi has continued to demonstrate wisdom, maturity, and a deep commitment to the prosperity of his people,” he added.

Dr. Alabi prayed for continued good health, divine wisdom, and long life for the monarch, expressing hope that his reign would continue to usher in greater peace, prosperity, and development for Oke-Ode Kingdom.

The birthday anniversary of the Elesa has continued to attract goodwill messages from political leaders, community stakeholders, traditional rulers, and admirers who described him as a respected custodian of culture and a unifying figure within Kwara South.
