Al-Hikmah Varsity Founder Hails Olofa on 16th Coronation Anniversary

 

Founder of Al-Hikmah University, Ilorin, Alhaji (Dr.) Abdur-Raheem Oladimeji, has congratulated the Olofa of Offa, HRM Oba Mufutau Mohammed Gbadamosi Oloyede Okikiola, Ajagungbade I, Esuwoye II, on the occasion of his 16th coronation anniversary.

Oladimeji, who is the Jagunmolu of Igbomina Land, Arogundade of Lagos and Baba Oba of Offa, conveyed the congratulatory message in celebration of the monarch’s anniversary on the throne of his forebears.

The Al-Hikmah University founder noted that Offa and its environs have witnessed remarkable growth and development during the reign of Oba Gbadamosi, describing the monarch as a visionary and pacesetter.

According to him, even before ascending the throne, the first-class traditional ruler had distinguished himself as a rallying point for the people of Offa through his personal contributions to the town’s development.

Oladimeji also recalled the employment opportunities created through the monarch’s business ventures, adding that the royal father has continued to endear himself to the people through his humane disposition and leadership qualities.

He further stated that the Olofa has remained at the forefront of mobilising sons and daughters of Offa both at home and in the diaspora towards self-help projects, as well as initiatives aimed at enhancing the safety and security of the community.

Describing the past 16 years as historic in the annals of the ancient town, Oladimeji prayed to Almighty Allah to grant the monarch sound health and long life to continue serving the people of Offa.

“I congratulate the Olofa of Offa, Oba Mufutau Mohammed Gbadamosi Oloyede Okikiola, Ajagungbade I, Esuwoye II, on his 16th coronation anniversary as the traditional ruler of the ancient town of Offa.

“It is indeed a glorious period for the people of Offa and Ibolo Land, as the last 16 years have brought unprecedented development to the community, particularly in the areas of self-help and funded projects through the personal mobilisation efforts of the Olofa of Offa,” the statement added.
