Tinubu Has All Wherewithal To Emerge – Oniyagi

The North Central Coordinator Tinubu Support Organisation Mallam Abdulazeez Yinka Oniyagi has expressed confidence in the All Progressives Congress (APC) 2023 Pressidential candidates Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu despite the outcome of governorship election in Osun State

It would be recalled that the PDP candidates Senator Ademola Adeleke defeated the incumbent governor Adegboyega Oyetola to emmerge winner of the governorship election held on Saturday

Ademola of PDP polled 403,371 votes to defeat the incumbent Governor Adegboyega Oyetola of APC, who secured 375,027 votes in a keenly contested election.

Speaking with his supporters in Ilorin at the weekend Mallam Abdulazeez Yinka Oniyangi said Tinubu has all the wherewithal to emerge.

He said ” Asiwaju accountability mesurement is different from the state measurement given his sucess when he was governor of Lagos State I’m very confident that is not going to have any effect especially on Ahmed Tinubu.

“The Osun State politics is about accountability and performance of the governor. Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu is measured on his performance in his past records as governor of Lagos State and the narative has not changed he has the 5Cs what are the 5Cs he has the capacity, he has the capability, he has constitency, commiment and creativity.

“We also have to measure where are we before and where are we today what is happening to Nigeria today is global no body is perfect I can tell you that APC has perormed well” he said

On Muslim Muslim tickets he said “are we running a religious government? this is just politics and politics is about winning. When he appointed Masari as Vice president nobody was saying anything but when he brought out the one who is threatening the opposition in numbers the narrative change.

“We don’t run a religious government in as far we are sensitive about religion, is what put food on the table, religion does not put food on my table, is the economic that put food and when somebody that is competent, has the ability and set goals those are the things that put food on the table.

“For me Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu has all the wherewithal and his deputy Shettima is a banker we saw what he has done even in the midst of crises in Borno state the legacy are still there. politics is about winning numbers.

“The first narrative was Asiwaju does not have a certificate, the second narrative is about Muslim Muslim tickets I’m sure the next narrative will be something else.

“A good fruit is what people pluck that ticket is a good fruit if you see a ripe and unripe mango which one would you like to pluck? the ripe mango because it is the sweet one. The sweet combination I will tell you and that is where we are going

“You can’t separate an individual from his life style I’m here today to celebrate with my supporters. Sensitization is ongoing and we will still do more” he said

The Director General DG Tinubu Support Organisation Hon Aminu Suleiman also expressed confidence on Tinubu “We have many support groups that have seen the work we are doing for our leader under TSO so they want to come and join us. many of the support group they are even asking us to come and do a million March for our leader Ahmed Tinubu that is why we are here in Kwara to receive them

On APC lost to PDP in Osun state he said “we have to go back to our drawing board and see the amendment we are going to do to make sure that the mistake does not happen again

On Muslim Muslim tickets he said “this is politics and politics is about winning We dont want people to start bringing religious to politics. I don’t want people to use religion to divide us”

“We have the confidence that Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu would emmerged as president of the party. He was in the system for long, over 35 years with the track record that he has God will make him Nigeria president.” he added.
