Kwara Fire Service Recovers Man, 25, Corpse From Well

Kwara State Fire has recovered a 25-year-old man, called Banji Adebayo at Ile-Nla in Omu-Aran Irepodun Local Government Area of Kwara State, who fell into a domestic well and died.

This is contained in a statement signed by Mr Hassan Adekunle, Head of Department, Media and Publicity, Kwara State Fire Service Ilorin.

According to him, today, 18th July, 2022, a man of 25-year-old called Banji Adebayo at Ile-Nla in Omu-Aran Irepodun Local Government Area of Kwara State, fell into a domestic well and died.

“The terrible incident took place in the early hours of Monday, at about 5:30hrs in Omu-Aran Kwara State.

“However, Firemen were able to recover the dead body from the well and later handed it over to one Alhaji Abdulkareem, a family member of the deceased, in the present of the Nigerian Police Officers,” he said.

According to the report, the victim man went to fetch water at the well and during the process of fetching one of his legs suddenly slipped off the ground and eventually tumbled down into the well.

Therefore, The Director, Kwara State Fire Service, Prince Falade John Olumuyiwa, urged the general public to be more careful in their day-to-day activities.
