Kwara Govt Renovates 600 Basic Schools

Kwara State Government has renovated and reconstructed about 600 State Universal Basic Education Schools (SUBEB), to support teaching and learning .

The state Commissioner for Communications, Mrs Abosede Buraimoh made the disclosure while featuring on the Correspondents Chapel media Parliament tagged: “News Keg” in Ilorin.

According to her, most of the schools have been renovated and reconstructed to meet the national standard.

She said the state government has ensured adequate supervision of dividend of democracy provided for the people of the state.

Mrs Buraimoh said the idea is to make the people of the state have the development they are yearning for.

The commissioner explained that the state government has organised an education summit with a view to finding lasting solution to challenges in the education sector across the state.

She noted that the state has also rehabilitated and reconstructed roads to make them motorable.

Mrs Buraimoh maintained that the state owned Television outfit has been renovated and equiped to commence 24hours service.

She said the state government is working tirelessly to ensure the state is clean.
