AOT Celebrates Scholarship Beneficiary, Damilola Oguntomi, on UNILORIN Graduation

Dr. Oluwatoyin Tajudeen Alabi (AOT), a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has celebrated Miss Damilola Oguntomi, a beneficiary of the AOT Foundation Educational Support Scholarship, on her successful graduation from the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN), Kwara State.
Dr. Alabi attended the graduation ceremony on Wednesday to celebrate Damilola, who graduated with honours from the university’s Department of Social Work.
Damilola benefited from the AOT Foundation Educational Support Scholarship, which sponsored her education from her first year at the university through to her successful graduation.
Her achievement underscores the importance of sustained investment in education, particularly in supporting orphans, students from indigent backgrounds and other vulnerable young people to realise their academic aspirations.
Dr. Alabi’s presence at the ceremony also highlighted his commitment to educational development, youth empowerment and creating opportunities for the next generation to thrive.
Through the AOT Foundation, he has continued to support students by providing educational assistance aimed at reducing financial barriers to higher education and enabling beneficiaries to pursue their academic goals.
The foundation’s intervention reflects the belief that investing in education goes beyond paying school fees to empowering young people with the knowledge, skills and opportunities needed to build better futures and contribute meaningfully to society.
Congratulating Damilola on her achievement, Dr. Alabi expressed optimism that her academic success would mark the beginning of greater opportunities, professional growth and impactful contributions to national development.
Her graduation also serves as an inspiration to other students, demonstrating how sustained educational support can help young people overcome challenges and achieve their dreams.
The AOT Foundation remains committed to its vision of investing in education, empowering young lives and building a brighter future through initiatives that promote access to learning and youth development.
The foundation, however, says congratulations to Miss Damilola Oguntomi on this remarkable achievement.
