HON. MOSHOOD BAKARE HAILS FIRST-CLASS ELEVATION OF ROYAL STOOLS, CELEBRATES OKE-ODE, OMUPO, ORO-AGO, IRA
Honourable Hon. Moshood Bakare has heartily congratulated revered traditional rulers on their well-deserved elevation to First-Class status by the Kwara State Government.
This is contained in a statement on his Facebook account on Tuesday personally signed by him.
I celebrate with His Royal Highness, Oba Mufutau Ibrahim Akanbi Adebayo, Ilufemiloye I, the Elesa of Oke-Ode; His Royal Highness, Oba Yakubu Adebayo Buhari Ilufemiloye, the Olomu of Omupo; His Royal Highness, Oba Johnson Olarewaju Dada Adekilutoro I, the Oloro of Oro-Ago Kingdom; and His Royal Highness, Oba Alhaji Abdulwahab Oyewale Oyetoro, the Onira of Ira.
This is indeed a historic moment for Oke-Ode, Omupo, Oro-Ago and Ira, and a source of immense pride to our people across Ifelodun, Offa and Oyun.
Our traditional institutions represent far more than royal stools. They embody our history, preserve our culture, strengthen the bonds within our communities, and provide an enduring link between generations.
The elevation of these revered stools is therefore an important recognition of the history, heritage and significance of these communities.
To our Kabiyesis, I pray that Almighty God grants you long life, sound health, greater wisdom and strength as you continue to provide leadership to your people.
May your reigns continue to foster peace, unity, development and prosperity in your respective domains.
I equally congratulate the royal families, traditional councils and the entire people of Oke-Ode, Omupo, Oro-Ago and Ira on this memorable milestone.
May this new chapter bring greater honour, dignity and progress to our communities.
Congratulations, Kabiyesis
Hon. Moshood Bakare
PDP Candidate, Ifelodun/Offa/Oyun Federal Constituency.
