Cherubim and Seraphim Church installs new Supreme head
The Cherubim and Seraphim Unification Church of Nigeria has installed Prophet Emmanuel Abiodun Alogbo as its new Supreme Head.
The Ordination ceremony was held at the Seraphim Land in Maba, Ogun State.
Alogbo, the Spiritual Leader of the C&S Movement Church Worldwide, succeeded Prophet Solomon Alao, who had led the C&S Unification Church of Nigeria since 2014 will be retiring after ten years of meritorious service in God’s vineyard.
The C&S Unification Church serves as the umbrella body for all denominations within the Cherubim and Seraphim Church.
Speaking after his Ordination, Alogbo pledged to lead the church with love, humility, and discipline while setting out a roadmap for unity and growth.
He also stressed that he was stepping into the role with reverence for the sacrifices of the Church’s founding fathers and past leaders.
He said, “We stand today on the solid foundation laid by our fathers through their prayers and sacrifices. I do not see myself as one man bearing a heavy crown, but as a servant called to serve the body of Christ”.
” The Church will work to raise a united, disciplined, and Christ-centered Cherubim and Seraphim Church that glorifies God, strengthens the Body of Christ, and becomes a beacon of spiritual excellence, holiness, and service to humanity.”
He also restated the Mission of the Unification Church, which, according to him, is to foster unity, uphold sound teachings of the Word of God.
The New leader also unveiled a 10-point agenda to drive his tenure, which included branding and identity reformation, doctrinal and liturgical realignment, leadership development and discipline, and conflict resolution.
According to him, others include “Educational advancement, evangelism and global missions, youth and women.
Describing the moment as a prophetic turning point for the Church, Alogbo called on all denominations, Pastors, and members of the fold to work together in unity.
Speaking earlier, Prophet Alao declared his support for his predecessor while appreciating the support of the Church and the ecclesiastical council during his tenure.
