Gov. AbdulRazaq Appoints Rev. Timothy Akangbe New SA Christianity
Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has appointed Reverend Timothy Oluwagbemiga Akangbe as the new Special Assistant on Religious Affairs (Christianity).
According to a statement by Rafiu Ajakaye, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Akangbe replaces Reverend Dr. S.O. Adedayo, who passed on recently.
The new official, a native of Apado in Ilorin East, holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Religious Studies and and Master’s Degree in Christian Studies from the University of Ibadan and University of Ilorin respectively.
A prominent member of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), the appointee has served as a clergyman and teacher at various levels.
