Prophet Alogbo Tasks Nigerian Leaders On Truthfulness, C & S Movement Church To Establish Galilee University
The Spiritual Father and Chairman of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide, Prophet (Dr.) Emmanuel Abiodun Alogbo, has urged Nigerian leaders to demonstrate truthfulness and honesty in their actions, ensuring fair distribution of the nation’s resources.
He made this call at a press briefing held at the church headquarters in Galilee, Orile-Igbon, Oyo State, as part of activities to mark the church’s 84th Annual Conference and Convention themed “Double Glory.”
Highlighting the essence of the convention, which runs from October 27 to November 3, 2024, Prophet Alogbo said, “It is our prayer that God shall continue to be with His church and Nigeria as a whole.
” Over 5,000 delegates from around the world are expected to attend the event at the church’s international headquarters, where various programmes and initiatives will be discussed for the growth of the church and its mission.
Prophet Alogbo also announced that the church is making significant investments in social and economic development through its BEULAH Project.
“As a church, we are committed to supporting national progress. We are investing in job creation, education, and community welfare,” he explained.
As part of this effort, the church has constructed the Galilee Primary and Secondary School and is now working on establishing Galilee University to further bolster education in the country.
Calling on the government to alleviate economic hardship, he said, “It is a known fact that economically, people are passing through a challenging period. Let us continue to pray for a positive turnaround.”
He emphasized the need for leaders to prioritize citizens’ welfare, while assuring that the church will continue to play its role in promoting peace, tolerance, and compassion among Nigerians.
The convention will also include ordinations of over a thousand members, as the church continues to grow both spiritually and in membership.
Prophet Alogbo further expressed the church’s solidarity with Nigerians affected by recent natural disasters, particularly in Borno and Yobe states, urging improved disaster management efforts to prevent further losses.
“As a nation and as a church, we face great challenges—but we also have the potential to rise above them,”
“We will continue to stand by the government and its efforts while also contributing our own initiatives to ensure that no one is left behind,” he said.
