Tinubu’s entry into Ka’abah, mark of respect for Nigeria – TDF

The Democratic Front (TDF) has described the Saudi Arabian government’s recent decision to grant President Bola Ahmed Tinubu access to enter the Ka’abah as validation of Nigeria’s position as a global force in the comity of nations.

In a statement by its Chairman, Mallam Danjuma Muhammad and Secretary, Chief Wale Adedayo, TDF said it was a sign of respect for Tinubu and Nigeria.

It said: “We recall that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s reforms have repeatedly attracted investments and partnerships from several economic powers, including the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the last three years.

“President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Reform has notably attracted investment initiatives from the Saudi Arabian government into sectors like Agriculture, Education, Housing and Oil and Gas.

“Indeed, Saudi Arabia’s state-owned oil company, Aramco, recently bought 140 million litres of Aviation Jet Fuel (Jet A1) from Dangote Refinery, culminating in a significant rise in the balance of trade between both countries.

“The opening of the Ka’abah for the President by Saudi authorities therefore symbolises a quintessential mark of honour for Nigeria on account of the remarkable socioeconomic milestone achieved under Tinubu’s exemplary leadership in the last three years.

“We thank President Tinubu for offering prayers for the peace, unity, and prosperity of Nigeria right inside the Ka’abah. We believe the prayers he offered for Nigeria from that privileged location were said out of love for the country.

“The honour done to Nigeria in granting President Tinubu access to the Ka’abah could not have come at a better time. It is important to note that at this crucial period in Nigeria’s economic history, when the nation is less than three months from the 2027 general elections, it needs prayers, spiritual guidance, and political will to scale through every obstacle on its path to victory.”

The group urged Nigerians to rally round President Bola Tinubu and ensure he wins the next presidential election slated for January 2027.
