AOT: It Is My Duty To Support, Work For Continuity of PBAT

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and community leader, Dr. Alabi Oluwatoyin Tajudeen (AOT), has declared his support for the continuity of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration beyond 2027, saying sustained leadership is essential to consolidating ongoing national development efforts.
Alabi, in a statement made available to journalists, said his position was informed by his belief in continuity, good governance and the need to sustain policies and programmes aimed at strengthening Nigeria’s economy and promoting national development.
According to him, political leadership should not only be assessed in terms of individual administrations but also by the extent to which successive governments are able to sustain, improve and build on policies and programmes that serve the broader interests of the country.
He said, “As a committed supporter of good governance and national development, I believe in the importance of continuity and sustained leadership.
“I stand in support of the re-election of President Ahmed Bola Tinubu in 2027, and I will continue to support efforts that promote the progress, unity and development of Nigeria.”
Alabi said his support for Tinubu was also anchored on his conviction that continuity could provide the opportunity for government policies to mature and deliver their intended benefits to Nigerians.
He urged political leaders and stakeholders to place national interest above personal considerations, stressing that Nigeria required collective efforts, responsible leadership and sustained commitment to development.
The APC chieftain further called on Nigerians to remain committed to peace, unity and democratic values as the country moves towards the 2027 general elections.
He said political differences should not be allowed to undermine the unity and stability of the country, adding that the ultimate objective of political participation should be the improvement of the lives of citizens.
Alabi, popularly associated with the slogan “IleriOluwa Ni,” also restated his commitment to supporting initiatives that promote economic growth, youth development, education, security and inclusive prosperity.
Dr Alabi maintained that Nigeria had enormous potential and could achieve greater development when political leaders, businesses, professionals and citizens worked together in the national interest.
The Kwara governorship aspirant therefore called for greater cooperation among stakeholders and sustained engagement with citizens in the pursuit of a more prosperous and united Nigeria.
