Kwara Speaker Celebrates NALVEJ Chairman, Alhaji Akanbi @ Birthday
The Speaker, Kwara State House of Assembly and APC governorship candidate, Rt. Hon. Engr. Yakubu Danladi-Salihu, has felicitated with a veteran journalist and media figure, Alhaji Tunde Akanbi, as he marks his birthday today.
In a statement released on Tuesday, by Sheu Abdulkadir Yusuf, mnipr, CPS to the KWHA, the Speaker described Alhaji Akanbi as one of Kwara’s finest media professionals.
“Though retired, he remains very active in the industry, particularly in his role as Chairman of the National League of Veteran Journalists, NALVEJ”
According to the Speaker, through NALVEJ, Alhaji Akanbi continues to enlighten the public, promote civic awareness, and keep those in authority accountable.
Rt. Hon. Danladi-Salihu also applauded the NALVEJ Chairman for his contributions to community development and for guiding young journalists to uphold the core values and professional ethics of the profession.
On behalf of the Kwara State House of Assembly and the 10th Assembly, the APC governorship candidate prayed that Alhaji Tunde Akanbi’s new age be filled with love, joy, and laughter.
