A governorship aspirant and All Progressives Congress Chieftain in Kwara State, Dr. Alabi Oluwatoyin Tajudeen (AOT), has extended warm Easter greetings to Christians across the state and Nigeria at large, urging citizens to embrace the enduring message of hope, sacrifice, and renewal that the season represents.

In his Easter statement, Dr. Alabi described the resurrection of Jesus Christ as the cornerstone of the Christian faith, symbolizing victory over death, redemption for mankind, and the promise of new beginnings.

He emphasized that the season calls for deep reflection on the virtues of love, humility, and selfless service, which Christ exemplified.

“Easter reminds us that no matter the challenges we face as individuals, state or a nation, there is always hope for restoration and transformation. The resurrection power assures us that light will always triumph over darkness,” he stated.

Dr. Alabi further urged leaders at all levels to draw inspiration from the sacrificial life of Jesus Christ by prioritizing the welfare of the people, ensuring security, promoting justice, and fostering unity across ethnic and religious divides.

“As we celebrate this sacred season, I call on all Kwarans to remain steadfast in faith, resilient in the face of adversity, and committed to building a peaceful, progressive, secured and prosperous state,” he added.

He also encouraged citizens to support one another, particularly the less privileged, noting that acts of kindness and compassion are central to the true spirit of Easter.

Dr. Alabi concluded by praying for divine peace, progress, and sustainable development in Kwara State and Nigeria, expressing optimism that the nation will overcome its current challenges through collective effort and God’s guidance.

“May this Easter bring renewed strength, abundant grace, and lasting peace to every home,” he prayed.
