Gov AbdulRazaq hails appointment of Samson Adamu as CAF Gen Sec

Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq welcomes the appointment of Mr. Samson Adamu as the Acting General Secretary of the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
This is contained in a statement signed by Rafiu Ajakaye, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor and made available to newsmen in Ilorin on Tuesday.
Samson, son of the Nigerian sports administrator Amos Adamu, is the first Nigerian to become the scribe of CAF since its founding some 70 years ago.
Governor AbdulRazaq says the appointment is a perfect fit, given the appointee’s previous roles in the organisation.
“Samson, a chip off the old block, brings the right pedigree and network to the role, and I am confident that this appointment will make a big difference in African football administration,” the Governor says in a statement.
Governor AbdulRazaq urges all football stakeholders on the continent to support the young administrator in this important role.
