Senate Pass Vote Of Confidence On Akpabio, Others
The Nigerian Senate has passed a vote of confidence on President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio and the entire leadership of the Senate.
Recall that Senators passed the vote of confidence during plenary on Thursday.
The President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio had on Wednesday debunked the report of planned impeachment against him, describing it as fake and a figment of the writer’s imagination.
Akpabio spoke through his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Hon. Eseme Eyiboh, in a statement, on Wednesday following online publications tagged “DSS Takes Over National Assembly Amid Impeachment Speculations Against Senate President Akpabio.”
