The Olomu of Omupo, His Royal Majesty, Oba Buari Yakub Adebayo Ilufemiloye II Ifelodun Local Government Area, Kwara has congratulated Gov. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State on his victory at the poll and subsequent re-election for another term in office.

This is contained in a statement signed by the National President, Omupo Descendants Union (ODU) Dr Monisoye Sola Afolabi and made available to Choicereporters in Ilorin on Tuesday.

Oba Buari described the Governor’s victory as well deserved and a pay back for his exemplary leadership quality and outstanding performance in every sectors of state economy in the last three and half years.

The Royal father said the landslide victory at the poll given to him by Kwarans from the North, central and south senatorial districts in the last Saturday’s election was a testimony of the good and hard works of the governor

Oba Buari encouraged Mallam AbdulRazaq to continue and do more ‘as a listening governor and father in the last three and half years because this is what has manifested in your re-election by the good people of Kwara state.

” You have been compassionate, hardworking, straightforward, honest, sincere and amiable whilst spreading dividends of democracy to all the nooks and crannies of the State.

“Governor AbdulRazaq had through his purposeful stewardship and leadership as the Executive Governor of the State turned the fortune of the state around for good of its citizens,” he said.

“Your various projects in the areas of health, education, road and other critical infrastructures are all over for the people to see.

Oba Buari urged those who lost in the last election to join hands with the government to move the state forward.

He pledged the commitment of the Omupo community in joining hands with the governor to deliver on his mandate towards building a peaceful and prosperous Kwara, and delivering dividends of democracy to the citizenry in an atmosphere of peace and harmony.
