Gov AbdulRazaq urges pilgrims from kwara to be good ambassadors

Governor AbdulRahmam AbdulRazaq has called on this year’s intending pilgrims from the state to be good ambassadors of the state and country at large.

Governor AbdulRazaq made the call today in his farewell for the fifth batch of this year’s intending pilgrims at the Babatunde Idi-Agbon International Airport, Ilorin.

Governor AbdulRazaq promised that the state government will continue to support the Board for a smooth Hajj exercise in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

In his remarks, the Chairman, Kwara State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Professor Mashood Mahmud-Jimba said Governor AbdulRasaq has been supportive towards the success of all the programmes and activities of the Board.

Also speaking, the Executive Secretary of the Board, Alhaji AbdulSalam Abdulkadir advised this year’s intending pilgrims from state to abide by the rules and regulations of Saudi Arabia and that of the Hajj activities.

The Public Relations Officer of the Board, Jumoke Jimoh reports that the fifth batch of three hundred and fifteen intending Pilgrims from the state boarded Air-Peace Airline departed to the Saudi Arabia at eighteen minutes past eleven this morning.
