NSCDC reaffirm commitment to ensuring security during, after Ramadan

As the holy month of ramadan begins, the Kwara State Commandant of the Nigeria Security And Civil Defence Corps, Commandant Umar J.G Mohammed (PhD), reaffirms the corps’ dedication to ensuring robust security measures throughout the state.

This is contained in a statement signed by ASC Ayoola Michael Shola, the Command’s Public Relations Officer and made available to newsmen in Ilorin on Monday.

He stated that NSCDC operatives are strategically deployed to prevent any potential attacks by malicious actors during the holy month of Ramadan.

He cautioned those with criminal intentions to steer clear of Kwara State, emphasizing that violators would face swift and decisive repercussions.

Additionally, he directed all Area Commanders, Divisional Officers and Tactical Team Commanders to implement stringent security measures to apprehend anyone attempting to disrupt law and order in the state.

The NSCDC boss in Kwara urged the Muslim community to embrace values such as compassion and forgiveness, while prioritizing acts of kindness, charity, and goodwill towards others..

Mohamme encouraged law-abiding citizens in the state to carry out their lawful activities without fear and emphasized the importance of reporting any suspicious activities to the nearest security agencies.
