FRSC Boss Talks Tough On Corruption

The Kwara State Sector Commander Corps Commander Fredrick A Ogidan has warned the operatives against corruption and the need to step up enforcement on Haulage trucks carrying passengers on top of goods.

Commander Fredrick A Ogidan who gave the warning in his Second quarter visit to commands under his jurisdiction, also expressed concern with the growing alarming reports on extortion by patrol operatives and determined to put a stop to trucks carrying passengers on top of goods which has lead to loss of many lives,

He warned against corruption and the need to step up enforcement on Haulage trucks carrying passengers on top of goods.

The Sector Commander advised the staff to obey Corps Marshal’s directive and warned that any staff found wanting would face the consequence.

Among the Commands visited by the sector commander were Ilorin, Olooru, Bode Sadu and Jeba Unit Commands.

In continuation of the visit to Commands to deliver CM’s directives, the Kwara Sector Commander CC FA Ogidan visited Idofian, Offa, Erin Ile, Omuaran and Odo-Owa Unit Commands respectively on Thursday 25 May 2023.

He used the opportunity to pay condolence visit to the family of Elerin of Erin Ile who joined his ancestors a few days ago.

He also warned motorist not to give bribe to Marshalls on the road.
