Father, Who Raped Own 14-yr-old Daughter, Remanded

An Ilorin Magistrate court has remanded a fouty-five-year (45) old father, Jimoh Lukman, who allegedly raped his own 14-year -old biological daughter on several occasions.

According to the police report, Lukman has been indulging in the unlawful act for several months before his wife, Sidikat Lukman, caught him and subsequently reported to the police.

The defendant (Jimoh), had been intimidating and threatening to deal with the victim and her mother if they expose the criminal act to anyone or to any law enforcement agent.

The prosecutor, Sanni Abdullah, informed the court of the motion exparte attached to the police report seeking the remand of the defendant urging court to grant the request.

Magistrate Aminat Omotayo Shittu, who presided over the matter, granted the prosecutor’s request and ordered the defendant’s remand while the matter was adjourned to 22nd of this month.
