Magistrate’s Court in Kiama has sentenced Ayuba Enupe, 22, to three years imprisonment without option of fine for house breaking and theft.
The Nigerian security and civil Defence corps (NSCDC), kwara state command, arrested the 22 years old Ayuba Enupe (M) for allegedly broken into the house of one Mr Jimoh Adigun’s house at General hospital Road, Kaima around 1:00 hrs on Thursday, 21st July.
He was alleged to have carted away 5 bundles of 50kg sacks.
The case was reported by the complainant, which led to the eventual arrest of Ayuba by NSCDC officials while he was trying to dispose the stolen materials.
“Further investigation revealed that Ayuba was earlier involved in another house braking and theft of 2 Android phones from one Mr Abdulrasaq’s residence in Kuokuo area, Kaiama.”
Ayuba was presented by the NSCDC kwara command before Magistrate Abdullahi Ahmed Boro in Kiama, who handed him 3 years imprisonment without any option of fine after pleading guilty.
Acting Commandant, DCC Jonah Gabriel, appealed to kwarans to be vigilant and report any suspicious movement in their domains to law enforcement agents.
He assured Nigerians that the corps will not compromise in her duties to protect lives and properties of Nigerians.
He requested for more cooperation and support of all and sundry towards achieving a crime free society.
