VP Nomination: Group congratulates Shettima, says it’s reward for commitment, courage

Following his nomination as the Running Mate to Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, a group within the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nigerians for Bold Actions, has congratulated former Governor of Katsina State, Senator Kashim Shettima.

The group in a statement by its National Coordinator, Engr Taofeeq Olayinka Ayinde described the nominated as a reward for his (Shettima’s) boldness and commitment to the emergence of Tinubu as the flag bearer of the APC.

The statement issued in Abuja partly read, “We hereby write to congratulate you on your successful nomination as the APC Vice Presidential Candidate as a formidable pillar of success to our Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

“Clearly your courage, determination a issuednd commitment to the aspiration of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu have demonstrated that there are rewards for dutiful hardwork.

“We have faith in your team Tinubu/Shettima 2023 and that your combination will bring about the prosperous, safe and secure Nation that the younger generation of Nigerians will be proud of once again.”

The group expressed its readiness to mobilise electorate for the total victory of the APC candidates in 2023.
