Easter: Kwara CAN Chairman Urges Christians To Pray For Peace

Nigerians have again been enjoined to pray for peace in the Country to engender development and progress just as Christians gathered at Galilee to share love and togetherness as part of activities rounding off the celebration of Easter.
The Kwara State Acting CAN Chairman, Bishop Sunday Adewole who made the call on Monday in Ilorin while presenting gifts to the Mogaji Oko-Oba Tanke Ilorin Alhaji Saka Adisa on behalf of Church of Epiphany, Anglican Communion called on Nigerians to see helping fellow brothers and sisters as helping God as all human beings are His children.
Bishop Adewole who is the Bishop Diocese of Kwara Anglican Communion and represented by
Reverend Canon Zachaeus Ojo said God has commissioned His people to be blessings to all and in the spirit of Easter.
The Acting CAN Chairman who prayed for peace in the land emphasized the need for peaceful co-existence to engender development and progress of the State and Nation.
He called for religious tolerance and harmonious relationship among the people saying that God is love.
Also speaking, the Chairman of Oko-Oba Tanke Community, Olakunle Ojo-Idowu applauded the Church for the gesture stressing the need to address the various challenges facing the area.
Responding, the Mogaji Oko-Oba, Tanke Ilorin
Alhaji Saka Adisa thanked the Church for the gesture and called for a crime free Environment.
Alhaji Saka Adisa called for collaboration of all stakeholders in the Community to ensure its development among others.
