Group Congratulates APC New Executive Members

The APC Volunteers Group (APCV) has congratulated the newly elected APC Executive members under the able chairmanship of Senator, Abdullahi Adamu and former Governor of Nasarawa State.

This was contained in a statement signed one of the group leaders, Mr Akin Makanjuola.

According to him, the entire APCV family under the pragmatic leadership of Victor Walsh Olufemi, National Coordinator, the newly sworn in Director Strategy Implementation and Compliance, Alhaji Salihu Ibrahim Kindo and the entire Exco viewed the appointment of Alhaji Adamu as a round peg in a round hole.

“We pledge our unalloyed loyalty and support for the new APC Exco. As veritable partners we shall work tirelessly to promote the ideals of APC.

“It was the late Alhaji Corona Adam and former Governor Central Bank who once said “Political experience is not what you can buy off the Shelf like a commodity”.

“This was the reason President Muhammadu Buhari sort for a man with wisdom and uncommon courage like Alhaji Adamu to lead the party to victory in the 2023 polls.

“Senator Adamu otherwise called the bridge builder is a tested War horse, pragmatic, savvy, fearless and a visionary. It is on record that he never lost any election since he joined politics 44 years ago.

“With this calibre of leader the APC is certain of victory and the nation in safe hands,” he said

The group, therefore, enjoined all party members especially Co-Contestants to display a high level of patriotism,a spirit of sportsmanship and comradeship at this critical period of our national history and evolution by supporting the newly sworn in Exco to move the nation to issue based and developmental politics rather than pursuing parochial interest. As we say in APCV it is “Party First”.

The APCV also viewed with serious concern the gradual (Talibanisation) of the Nigerian society especially in the Northern parts where life has become short, nasty and brutish.

“Within one week there was a terror attack on Kaduna Airport and only yesterday the Kaduna,Abuja railway line was bombed, several lives lost and some kidnapped.

It will be recalled that when the Kaduna,Abuja road became too dangerous for travellers due to activities of bandits and Kidnappers the next alternative was the railways and now that the rail is under serious threat and attack; where do we go from here as the rich also cry.
