Federal University Of Kastina Bans Sunday Worship
THE University of Dutsin-Ma, Kastina State has banned Sunday Church services for Christian churches and fellowships.
In a release signed by the Director of Security Services, CSP Abdu Salisu, Sundays will be regarded as “GENERAL DAY”, while church services will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 6p.m and 8p.m.
Churches are asked to adhere strictly to the new days of Church services.
Ironically the draconian banning order was not extended to Friday Muslim worship. No explanations were offered as to what has religion and worship got to do with federal university funded by both Christian and Muslim citizens taxes.
While schools in other part of the world are researching and innovating, Muslim religion has been made chaotic by unchecked fanatics.
“Do they have such right? Imagine if a school in the south does this, I mean a federal University bans Muslim prayers on Friday… just imagine it.
Christians there should reject and ignore this directive.“This is unconstitutional and impunity of the highest order. It should be resisted.
The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) should immediately take up the matter before it gets out of hand”, Mr Chris Alade said.(Trojan news)
