Mr. Alwan Ali Hassan, Ag.MD/CEO, Bank of Agriculture, Kaduna has debunked the publication of Chronicle.ng, an online publication, with the headline – “Mai Mala Buni, an embarrassment to all proud northerners – Alwan Hassan”
This is contained in a statement signed by the Head of Public Affairs of the Bank of Agriculture, Mr Gboyega Olaniyi and made available to newsmen on Friday.
According to him, the management of the Bank of Agriculture with the headquarters in Kaduna wishes to dissociate itself and the Ag.MD/CEO, Alwan Ali Hassan from the reported story.
“It is pertinent to mention that the name of the news source, ‘Alwan Hassan’ was coincidentally almost the same with the Ag. MD/CEO of the Bank of Agriculture but not the same person and they are not in anyway related.
“There is no way, the MD/CEO of the most respected and referred Bank would have appeared on Channels TV with Seun Okinbaloye to castigate the person of All Progressives Congress (APC) Caretaker Chairman and Executive Governor of Yobe state, Alhaji Mai Mala Bunu.
“The said Alwan Hassan was live on the Channels TV and should not have been mistaken for the bank’s Chief executive, except a mischief maker.
“The management of the Bank of Agriculture was, however, not happy with the few people mixing up issues and personality of our Ag.MD/CEO with the man on the Channels TV castigating Governor Mala Buni, despite all his efforts and sacrifice to reposition the party,” he said.
