Four Fire Incidents Recorded In Ilorin Within 24 Hours

The people of Kwara State have again been advised to be safety conscious just as four fire incidents occurred in Ilorin within twenty four hours.

Director, Kwara State Fire Service, Prince John Falade, who made the call in Ilorin, said some of the fire incidents was as a result of carelessness.

Prince Falade urged the general public to always be careful about their dealings and stop careless burning in their environments.

The building affected by fire

He explained that the fire incidents happened in a consecutive manner, whereby firemen were moving from one fire scene to another overnight.

The first one was at Ipata Oloje market, where more than fifty shops were saved from ravaging inferno by the firemen followed by another one at Agbo Oba where a complete building comprising of eight flats was saved, while a store was affected.

Two shops were burnt behind Kasandubu LGEA Primary School, Niger area, Ilorin.

Two flats was engulfed at Adeyemi street Gaa-Akanbi Area, Ilorin, yesterday.
