Osun Assembly commiserates with Omisore over death of his father

The Speaker State of Osun House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Timothy Owoeye has described death as end of humanity.

Hon. Owoeye, who was represented by the Majority Leader of the state House of Assembly, Hon. Maroof Ajibola Olanrewaju, made this assertion on Thursday.

He led other members of the State Parliament to paid condolence visit to the family of former deputy governor of Osun state Senator Christopher Iyiola Omisore in his ile- ife home town over the demise of his father His Royal Majesty Oba David Olajide Omisore the Olu of Ayepe Olode.

The traditional ruler joined his fore fathers on Wednesday.

He noted that the late royal father lived fulfilled life for both God and humanity.

He said the late traditional ruler would be missed forever for his kind gestures.

According to him, the late royal father lived fulfilled life and he will be missed forever in our midst.

“Baba’s demise is a big loss and the vacuum will not be easily filled,” he added.

However, the lawmaker’s who is representing Ife- South State Constituency Hon. Benjamin Ogundipe and his counterpart from Ila State Constituency Hon. Lateef Jajeola then led the prayer for what the deceased left behind and entire family members.

In his response, Sen Iyiola Omisore appreciated the house team sent to his ile ife resident.

He said the late father would be missed forever for kind gestures.


Similarly, the team also paid condolence visit to the Clerk of the State house of Assembly Mr. Simeon Akinwale Amusan who lost his father Pa John Oyebade Amusan yesterday at the ripe age of 86.

The Majority Leader Hon. Maroof Olanrewaju who standby other members of the state Parliament convened the message of the Speaker Hon. Owoeye to the family members.

He commiserated with the clerk on the demise of his father Pa John Amusan.

He said the late baba lived a fulfilled life while on earth.

They also prayed for the family and all what he left behind.

In his response, the child of deceased Mr. Simeon Amusan thanked and appreciated the speaker of the state assembly and the entire team sent to condole with his family.
