Kwara NSCDC Commandant tasks 239 newly promoted officers on dedication, loyalty

The Kwara State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Iskilu Ayinla Makinde has admonished the newly promoted junior Officers of the corps to be more alive to their responsibilities and shun any act that can tarnish the good image of the Corps.
The Commandant stated this on Wednesday while addressing the two hundred and thirty nine (239) junior officers at the Corps’ State headquarters in Ilorin the Kwara State capital.
He said that the relative peace being enjoyed in the state was largely due to the great and excellent working relationship among all the security agencies in the State.
” While I will like to congratulate you in your new ranks I want you to see your new position as another call to duty and for you to be more proactive and committed in ensuring security of lives and property in the State.
“You must leverage on the good working relationship that exist among all the security agencies in the State and make sure you always protect the good image of the corps anywhere you found yourself” the Commandant disclosed.
A total of two hundred and thirty nine (239) officers that cut across level four to level seven benefited from the promotion exercise.
All the beneficiaries promised to be more diligent and hardworking in order to rid the state of the criminal elements.
