Tribute To Bishop Olawoore: BROKEN CHAIN

Tribute In Memory of Late Bishop Paul Adegboyega Olawoore on behalf of the Catholic Laity Council, Ilorin Diocese
Our Dear Bishop, we little knew that morning that God was going to call your name. It broke our hearts to lose you.
You never said I am leaving. You never said goodbye. You were gone before we knew it and only God knows why.
Your smile is gone forever. And your hand we cannot touch, life goes on as always but things seem out of place now that we cannot call on you or see your smiling face again.
Our family chain as a Church is broken, and nothing seems the same; but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.
You were a good man with good intentions but death??? Your memory is our keepsake with which we will never part.
God has you in his keeping.
We have you in our hearts.
It is sad to walk the road alone, Instead of side by side. But to all there comes a moment When the ways of life divide.
At the early hour(some minutes past 12 midnight) of that faithful day, 1st January, 2022, I sent you congratulatory messages for witnessing a new 365 days, 2022. Then came sorrow and tears, it is really painful to think that you are gone but we know you are in a better place when all is said and done.
Rest well My Lord Bishop Paul Adegboyega Olawoore, and do not forget to save a chair for the day grave matters.
WE MEET AGAIN.
Pharm. Ọlọ́runnisola Akolade JP.
President, Ilorin Diocesan Catholic Laity Council.
