Omupo Community in Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara state has sympathised with Ajase-Ipo Community, its neighbour, over the demise of its First Class Traditional Ruler, Oba Sikiru Atanda Woleola, Olupo of Ajase-Ipo.

This is contained in a statement signed by the Olomu of Omupo,  Oba Yakubu Buari on Wednesday in Ilorin.

The traditional ruler commiserated with the Olupo-in-Council and the entire Ajase-Ipo community and described the death of the paramount rule as shocking.

According to him, during the 12 years reign of the late paramount ruler of Ajase-Ipo,  he demonstrated uncommon character, integrity,  wisdom and capacity to administer.

“The late traditional ruler was also the Chairman,  Igbomina Traditional Council, which he led very well.”

Buari prayed that the Almighty God will pardon his shortcomings and grant him eternal rest.

The Olomu of Omupo also prayed that God will grant the deceased family, Ajase-Ipo-in-Council and the good people of the community the fortitude to bear the loss.

He said the late traditional ruler would be greatly missed and remembered by all.
