I bet all chelsea fans are delighted with the way the club is going ahead of next season as they are pulling all stunts to get their targets. After successfully signing Timo werner and Hakim ziyech, Chelsea are now set to complete a deal for havertz.
The blues have reportedly agreed a 5 year deal with the player but his transfer fee seems to be delaying the deal. But there is Good news for chelsea fans as the club has now reached a breakthrough with Bayern Leverkusen over top target Kai Havertz.
Bayern Leverkusen reportedly wants £90m for the German international but the blues are not willing to pay over £70m. However, chelsea chief Marina Granovskaia, has been working hard to make havertz chelsea’s third signing after they wrapped up deals for ziyech and Timo Werner.
And according to Germany publication, Sport Bild a breakthrough may have been made as both clubs are open to a deal which includes add ons.
The report suggests £70m can be paid up front – which was Chelsea’s maximum limit. Another £20m will then be paid in add-ons which is said to suit both parties as it will allow Granovskaia to continue her spending this summer.
Adding Kai havertz to chelsea’s already mouth watering attack will be devastating for oppositions next season. But there is still something lacking, the blues have been really poor at the back so far, conceding over 40 goals this season.
That’s just too much for a club that aspires to win tittles. I feel Lampard should address that, if not, all their efforts might go down the drain.
