Osun Assembly Screens Civil Service Commission Members

The State of Osun House of Assembly has screened Governor Gboyega Oyetola nominees for Osun State Civil Service Commission.
The nominees were screened on Tuesday during plenary of the State of Osun of Assembly Osogbo.
The Speaker Rt. Hon. Timothy Owoeye in his remarks urged the governor’s nominees to see their nomination as privilege.
He advised them to bring sanity into the state civil service.
He urged the nominees to work together to move civil service forward in the state.
He also urged the nominees to brings the best out of civil service in the state.
According to him, the house wants you all to bring sanity into the civil service in the State.
“We want you to work together for better service in the state” he added.
He said that the state wants new civil service in the state for effective performance.
He advised them to always maintain good relationship with one another.
In their separate remarks, the lawmakers commended the Governor Oyetola by forwarding reputable persons to the lawmakers for screening.
They described the nominees as honesty and upright leaders in their respective domains and advised them not to relent in their efforts to lift the civil service up in the state.
They said, “The nomination of these members of Osun state civil service is not by mistake”.
They urged the nominees to be fair in discharging their duties.
They advised them to see their appointment as service to the humanity and the people at large.
In another development, the Speaker of the Parliament, Rt. Hon. Timothy Owoeye announced the demise of Hon. Prince Adegbola Adegoroye Oyinlola, who passed away December last year.
He was the lawmaker, who represented Odo-Otin State Constituency in first Assembly and first Chief Whip of Osun State House of Assembly between 1992 -1993.
