RTEAN boss urges road users to put their vehicles in good condition

The Kwara state chairman of the road transport employers’ association (RTEAN), Alhaji Abdulrahman Olayinka Onikijipa has urged all road users to put their vehicles in good condition before putting them on the road, especially during the Ember months
Alhaji Abdulrahman Olayinka Onikijipa made the call at the inauguration of two new chapel of road transport employers’ association of Nigeria RTEAN, Eesuwoye Chapel and Ilufemiloye Chapel, Offa Local Government area of Kwara state.
He urged road users to ensure that their vehicles particular are intact and obey the traffic rules, saying “drivers must shun drinking of alcohols and other substance that could endangered their lives.”
He urged the new chapel and their leadership in Offa local government area of Kwara state to be law abiding and to always demonstrate good moral values amongst themselves and other sister organization.

“I wish to remind us that for about six years now, activities of RTEAN here in Offa have been suspended and today RTEAN is coming back to live as a result of the unflinching support of our father, His Royal Highness Olofa of Offa, Oba Mufutau Gbadamosi Easuwoye, the Offa Descendants Union (ODU), the Executive National President of RTEAN Alhaji (Dr.) Musa Muhmmed Maitakobi and I myself sincerely overwhelmed today,” he said
” As we all know that, RTEAN is one of the organization that has opened widows of job opportunities to many Nigerians, and it also supports in many ways the agenda, policies and programmes of the government so that the government can succeed” he added.
“Today’s inauguration, I want you to agree with me that, it would not only open the operation of RTEAN in Offa, but would also boost the social-economic activities of the town as many people would be gainfully employed and would also enhance the transportation system in the town,” he said
He also commended Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq for creating enabling environment for private investors to strive in the state.
He also commended the Olofa of Offa, His Royal Highness, Oba Mufutau Gbadamosi Easuye for his support and pray for God to continue to make his tenure to be peaceful with lots of unprecedented achievements.
The Chief Imam of Offa land Fadilatu Sheikh Muyideen Salman urged the association not to allow themselves to be used as thug but strive great in their chosen profession
He also urged them to be well presented and package themselves well added that they should be law abiding noted that they should also seek the progress of other members and be kind to those under them
He also stressed the need for unity among members of the association.
Barr.Bashiru Ijaya administerd the the oath of allegiance.
The Kwara state commissioner of Water resources Agbaje Femi urged the association to be of good conduct as the state government would support them in their area of needs
Speaking on behalf of the inaugurated chapel, the Chairman of Ilufemi loye chapel Mr Rafiu Adeyemi promised to justify the confidence repose in them
Ha also commended the Olofa of Offa Oba Mufutau Gbadamosi Easuwoye for his kind gesture and for giving them listening ears.
Highpoint of the event was the conferment of patron to prominent Offa indigen and life patron to the Olofa of Offa Oba Mufutau Gbadamosi Easuwoye
