FG Pays N4.25bn To 600 More Ex-Nigeria Airways Staff
The Federal Government has disbursed 4.25 billion naira in outstanding pension and severance benefits to 600 more former staff of Nigeria Airways.
In a statement, the Federal Ministry of Finance says the latest payment of 4.25 billion naira covers batches 10 and 11, bringing the total paid across 11 batches to 3,300 beneficiaries.
The first nine batches covered 2,700 beneficiaries.
The Ministry gave an assurance that verification of claims by next of kin is still ongoing, and more eligible beneficiaries will be paid as their records are confirmed.
