Olomu of Omupo, ODU Felicitate Hon. Wasiu Odewale  on His Birthday 

The Olomu of Omupo,  Oba Muhammed-Yakubu Adebayo Buari II, and the entire executive of Omupo Descendants Union on Monday felicitated Honourable Wasiu Odewale,  a former Commissioner in Kwara State on his birthday.

This is contained in a statement signed by Chief Taju Adigun, the Secretary of the ODU and the Balogun Musulumi of Omupo on Monday.

“On behalf of His Royal Majesty Oba Muhammed-Yakubu Adebayo Buari II, Olomu of Omupo and every son and daughter of Omupo, the National President of Omupo Descendants Union, Dr. Monisoye Afolabi, congratulates Honourable Wasiu Odewale on the occasion of his birthday today.

“On behalf of Olomu, Dr. Afolabi expressed the appreciation of all omo Olomu Aperan for the enormous contributions and sacrifices of Hon. Odewale to the social economic development of Omupo right from his teenage years till date.”

The ODU President particularly noted the pivotal roles Honourable Odewale played, as the Honourable Commissioner in the Kwara State Government to the establishment of the maternity ward of the Omupo Cottage Hospital, improvement of power supply as well as water supply schemes in Omupo.

Whilst wishing Honourable Odewale happy birthday, Dr. Afolabi prayed to Almighty God to grant Honourable Odewale longer life in good health and prosperity. Amen
