Dr Alabi Felicitates Emir of Ilorin at 86, Salutes Emir’s Legacies of Peace, Development

Dr Alabi Oluwatoyin Tajudeen, AOT, a gubernatorial aspirant and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has congratulated the Emir of Ilorin and Chairman, Kwara State Council of Chiefs, His Royal Highness Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu Gambari, CFR, on the occasion of his 86th birthday.
In a statement personally signed by him and released in Ilorin on Tuesday, Dr Alabi described the Emir’s reign as peaceful and impactful, noting that his wise and fatherly leadership has unified Ilorin Emirate and Kwara State.
He added that the monarch’s tenure has brought stability and honour to the throne of his forefathers.
Dr Alabi stated that Ilorin has witnessed great development under the Emir, with strides recorded in commerce, infrastructure, religious harmony, and community advancement.
He said the Emir’s ability to foster peaceful coexistence among diverse groups remains a model for traditional institutions across Nigeria.
The APC chieftain particularly commended the monarch’s contributions to education, stressing that the Emir’s support for learning and moral excellence paved the way for Ilorin to host Kwara first faith-based university, Al-Hikimah University located in Ilorin According to him, the institution reflects the Emir’s enduring commitment to human capital development.
He described His Royal Highness as an epitome of humility, a peace ambassador, a great developer, and a humanist whose reign continues to inspire both leaders and followers.
Dr Alabi prayed for long life, sound health, and renewed wisdom for the Emir to continue to guide the Emirate aright. He added that Ilorin and Kwara State will keep enjoying peace, unity, and greater prosperity under the monarch’s fatherly watch.
