Dr. Oluwatoyin Alabi has congratulated Chief Ganiu Bamidele Balogun on his installation as the Balogun of Igbaja, describing the appointment as a well-deserved recognition of his service, character, and commitment to the progress of the community.
In a congratulatory message made available to journalists on Friday, Dr. Alabi noted that the elevation of Chief Balogun into the Elese-in-Council marks a significant moment in the traditional and leadership history of Igbaja.
According to him, Chief Ganiu Bamidele Balogun’s emergence as Balogun reflects the confidence reposed in his wisdom, courage, and capacity to contribute meaningfully to the preservation of peace, unity, and development of the town.
Dr. Alabi prayed that Almighty God grants the new Balogun sound health, divine wisdom, and strength to serve faithfully as a member of the Elese-in-Council, while supporting His Royal Highness, the Elese of Igbaja, in advancing the collective interest of the people.
He expressed optimism that Chief Balogun’s tenure would usher in renewed commitment to harmony, cultural values, and sustainable development in Igbaja.
