Al-Hikmah Varsity Founder, Oladimeji, Felicitates Emir of Ilorin on 30th Coronation Anniversary

 

The Founder of Al-Hikmah University, Ilorin, Alhaji Chief (Dr) Abdur-Raheem Oladimeji, OFR, FNAEAP, FSPSP, has congratulated the Emir of Ilorin and Chairman, Kwara State Council of Chiefs, His Royal Highness, Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR, on the occasion of his 30th coronation anniversary, describing his reign as remarkable and transformative.

Oladimeji noted that Ilorin has witnessed tremendous peace, unity, and progress under the Emir’s leadership since his ascension to the revered Sheikh Alimi’s stool three decades ago.

The Jagunmolu and Asiwaju of Igbomina land, who also holds the titles of Arogundade of Lagos and Baba Oba of Kingdom, expressed his goodwill in a congratulatory message to the Emir, extolling his virtues of humility, wisdom, and commitment to peaceful coexistence.

“I use this moment to congratulate our royal father, the Emir of Ilorin, Dr Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR, on the occasion of his 30th coronation anniversary as the Primus Inter Pares of Ilorin and its environs.

“This is not just a celebration of three decades on the throne of Sheikh Alimi, but also a time to reflect on the growth, unity, and achievements of Ilorin under His Royal Highness’s leadership,” he stated.

Oladimeji further remarked that the Emir’s bridge-building efforts and fatherly disposition have strengthened the bond among the diverse people of Ilorin Emirate.

“Remarkably, Ilorin has been blessed over the past thirty years, and we have every reason to thank Almighty Allah for the gift of life, wisdom, and sound judgment bestowed upon our royal father. It is my prayer that Almighty Allah continues to grant him good health, long life, and divine guidance,” he added.

The Al-Hikmah University founder also felicitated traditional chiefs, the Chief Imam of Ilorin, Dr Mohammed Bashir Solihu, other Imams, and eminent clerics across the Ilorin Emirate on the joyous occasion, praying for continued peace and prosperity in the Emirate under the revered monarch’s reign.
