Miyetti Allah Lauds Tinubu, AbdulRazaq for Promoting Peace, Inclusiveness in Governance

The Kwara State chapter of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for their unwavering commitment to peace, security, and inclusive governance in the state.

Speaking in Ilorin, the state capital, the chairman of MACBAN, Alhaji Shehu Garba, praised the Tinubu-led administration for supporting initiatives that promote national unity and stability.

He particularly lauded Governor AbdulRazaq’s detribalised approach to governance, describing it as a model for leadership in a diverse society.

“Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s leadership style is a true reflection of fairness and inclusion. His administration’s efforts in providing schools, potable water, healthcare centres, and other infrastructure to Fulani communities demonstrate his genuine concern for the welfare and progress of all residents,” Garba said.

He further applauded the governor for preventing divisive elements from exploiting ethnic and religious differences to destabilize the state, noting that the recent deployment of military personnel to Kwara South had helped curb banditry and restore peace in the area.

Alhaji Garba also commended traditional rulers, security agencies, and community leaders for their roles in maintaining security across the state.

He cited the government’s swift response to incidents such as the Ajase-Ipo Kara market fire, as well as Governor AbdulRazaq’s personal visits to victims of attacks, as signs of “genuine leadership and compassion.”

He assured that MACBAN would continue to enlighten its members on the need to operate within the law and uphold peace in their host communities.

Garba called on other state governors to emulate AbdulRazaq’s leadership style, emphasizing that such an approach would promote unity, good governance, and development across Nigeria.
