The Chairman of the Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria (RTEAN), Kwara Branch, Comrade Abdulrahman Onikijipa, has urged road users to prioritize safety first and avoid taking unnecessary risk on the road.

According to him, lack of patience, speeding and carelessness has cost many people’s life on the road.
” Every road user or drivers must put safety first. Stop thinking about manipulating on the wheel.
” Be patient, drive carefully and obey the traffic rules. Risk is not worth taking on the road.
” Always consider others while driving. The road is meant for everyone not only you,” he said.
He, however, advised motorists to avoid over speeding and shun drink and drive.
The chairman also appealed to road users and the public to stop claiming rights on the road, but to be safety ambassador.
