Gov AbdulRazaq Felicitates Ex-diplomat Dr. Monisoye Afolabi at 75

Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq if Kwara State has joined the good people of Omupo to celebrate retired diplomat and community leader Dr. Monisoye Afolabi on his 75th birthday today, October 10, 2025.

Governor AbdulRazaq commends the former ECOWAS official for his excellent service to the West-African subregion, Nigeria, and Kwara State as a diplomat, public official, and a ‘guardian angel’ for younger generations in the state.

“As President of Omupo Descendants Union (ODU), we are proud of Dr. Afolabi’s leadership to the people of the community. Under his leadership, Omupo has ticked many right boxes in community developmental initiatives amid harmonious relationships among sons and daughters of the community,” the Governor says.

He asks God to give Dr. Monisoye Afolabi many more years in good health and abundant grace of God.
