Ahmed Saba Assures Residents Of Lafiagi , Patigi and Tsaragi Of Safety and Security

 

Members representing ,Edu/Moro and Patigi Federal Constituency of Kwara state, Ahmed Saba has assured residents of Lafiagi, Patigi and Tsaragi communities affected by bandits attacks of government intervention to ensure their safety and security.

Saba gave the assurance when he visited Lafiagi, Patigi and Tsaragi communities to sympathise with those affected by the ugly incidents.

He said as their representative at the national assembly he would continue to raise his voice and push for stronger security measures, as well as demand justice for those affected .

“I was in Lafiagi to commiserate directly with the victims and families affected by the bandits attack and kidnapping. May the souls of those who lost their lives rest in perfect peace. Their pain is our shared burden, and their strength continues to inspire our resolve. Saba said.

The lawmaker explained that financial assistance has been extended to the victims and affected households to help cushion their immediate needs and aid their recovery.

Saba expressed gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, the National Assembly, the National Security Adviser, and all security agencies for their efforts to restore peace to the affected communities.

“we remain committed to ensuring that our people in Edu, Moro, and Patigi Federal Constituency receive the protection, justice, and support needed,” he said.

In their separate remarks, the Emir of Lafiagi, Alhaji Mohammed Kudu Kawu, the Etsu Patigi , Alhaji Umar Bologi II, and the Etsu Tsaragi , Alhaji Aliyu Kpotwu Abdullahi appreciated the the motion raised at the National Assembly by their representative which attracted national attention and mobilized institutional response to Edu’s security concerns.

He thanked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the leadership of the National Assembly, the National Security Adviser, and the security agencies for their prompt response and sustained efforts.

Alhaji Kawu also extend gratitude to the traditional rulers, community, and religious leaders whose unity and wisdom have kept people strong in the face of adversity.

He noted that the intervention reflects the collective resolve to safeguard rural communities, enhance resilience, and support the vision of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq in building a safer, stronger, and more inclusive Kwara.
