Iran’s 12‑Day Bombardment Destroyed $1.3 Billion in Property Across Israel

Following Israel’s Operation Rising Lion on June 13 targeting Iran’s nuclear infrastructure, Iran launched over 400 missiles at Israel during a 12‑day barrage.

Despite high interception rates, the strikes inflicted staggering damage: 4.5 billion shekels—approximately $1.3 billion—in property losses, with residential buildings rendered uninhabitable and civilians injured.

The Iran’s Grand Ayatollah Naser Makarem Shirazi has issued a religious decree declaring that anyone who endangers Islamic leadership—specifically the Supreme Leader—should be considered a “muharib,” or enemy of God, a designation under Islamic law that warrants the death penalty.

The fatwa is widely seen as a direct warning aimed at former U.S. President Donald Trump in response to American threats against Tehran’s regime.

Meanwhile,  Ali Shamkhani, a top advisor to Iran’s Supreme Leader Khamenei, gave his first televised interview after surviving an Israeli assassination attempt during Operation “Am Kilavi.”

He described being buried under rubble for three hours with broken ribs, initially mistaking the blast for an earthquake.

“The Zionists know why they targeted me—and so do I,” he said, adding he couldn’t disclose the reason but claimed, “I made their lives miserable.”

It was gathered that Iran held a mass funeral in Tehran for Chief of Staff Mohammad Baqeri and 59 other top military and nuclear officials killed in Israeli strikes.

Tens of thousands attended the procession, where crowds chanted slogans including “Death to America, Death to Israel.”

Israel’s Arrow missile defense system is set to receive a next-generation upgrade with the development of the Arrow 4 interceptor, designed to counter evolving ballistic threats.

Boaz Levy, CEO of Israel Aerospace Industries, confirmed the system is nearing production.

The US-Israeli project began in 2017 and will replace the aging Arrow 2. (JBN)
