Gov. AbdulRazaq working to foster collaboration, synergy among government agencies – Commissioner

The Kwara Commissioner for Communications, Mrs Bolanle Olukoju says Gov. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq led government is working accidously to foster collaboration and synergy among government agencies, ministries, and departments,l in a bid to further develop the state.

 

Olukoju disclosed this on Tuesday during the Kwara Government 1st Quater Inter- Ministerial Press Briefing for 2025 held at the Conference room of the State Ministry of Finance in Ilorin.

 

She said the governor wants a family like collaboration among the government agencies and ministries to ensure more development in the state.

 

According to her, the ministries, agencies and departments are expected to work at the same pace in order to key into the governor’s growth vision for the state.

 

” As you can see, Kwara is progressing under our amiable governor. All hands are on deck to drive the state forward.

 

” The stake holders involved already key into Gov.AAbdulRazaq vision or state growth and development. He want the bond between the ministries and other departments to be intact,” she said.

 

The commissioner, in her remarks rolled out some of the breakthrough of the current administration to cover Infrastructural Development, healthcare, Education, Agriculture and Empowerment through the Kwara Social Investment Programme (KWASIP).

 

The News Agency of Nigeria ( NAN), reports that the briefing was aimed at bringing together key stakeholders to discuss the state’s progress and future plans.

 

The commissioner highlighted notable achievements by the AbdulRazaq led administration to include; commissioning of flyovers, such as the General Tunde Idiagbon and Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari Unity Flyover, construction of roads which she said has significantly improved the state’s transportation network.

 

She also stressed the part of the projects are Upgrading of Kwara State Hospitals to Teaching Hospitals, including Kwara State University Teaching Hospital and Al-Hikmah Teaching Hospital, which demonstrates the government’s commitment to improving healthcare delivery in the state.

 

According to her, the government achievement also include distribution of seed crops to over 2,000 farmers across the three senatorial districts and funding of Kwara State University of Education for full implementation, with admission set to begin in 2025 academic session, and provision of bursaries to students in tertiary institutions.

 

Olukoju, however, expressed profound gratitude to the governor for his unwavering support and dedication to the people of Kwara and Nigeria.

 

The gathering was attended by some Honourable Commissioners, Permanent Secretaries, Heads of Agencies, General Managers of state owned government parastatals among others.
