CP Adekimi Ojo Assumes Duty as Kwara Police Commissioner, Felicitates Muslims on Eid-el-Fitr
The Kwara State Police Command has announced the assumption of duty by CP Adekimi Ojo, psc, mnips, as the 44th Commissioner of Police for the state.
This was disclosed in a statement issued by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Adetoun Ejire-Adeyemi, and made available to journalists in Ilorin.
CP Adekimi Ojo, a seasoned law enforcement officer with over three decades of experience in the Nigeria Police Force, is known for his expertise in crime prevention, intelligence-led policing, and strategic security management.
His appointment is expected to further enhance security measures and strengthen community relations in Kwara State.
Before his promotion, CP Ojo served as the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of operations in Kwara State, where he played a vital role in crime-fighting and security coordination. His leadership is expected to bolster ongoing efforts in maintaining law and order across the state.
In his address, CP Ojo assured residents of his commitment to ensuring a safer environment and called on the public to cooperate with the police by providing credible information that will aid security operations.
