Update: Israel’s retaliatory strike on Iran hit roadblock
BREAKING: Israel’s retaliatory strike on Iran has hit a roadblock after top-secret details were leaked from the Pentagon, according to the UK’s Times.
While no specific targets were named, Israeli officials now fear Iran could anticipate the attack, forcing a delay in their plans.
“The leak of U.S. documents completely shifted our strategies,” an insider revealed. “We will retaliate, but the strike has to be reworked, which is slowing us down.”
The classified documents, labeled “top secret” first appeared on Telegram last Friday, rapidly spreading among Iranian channels. Now, the FBI is scrambling to uncover the source of the breach, as the world waits to see what comes next.
Meanwhile, the Prime Minister’s Office: Under the directive of Prime Minister Netanyahu, Mossad Chief David Barnea will travel to Doha on Sunday for a meeting with CIA Director Bill Burns and the Prime Minister of Qatar.
The meeting will discuss various options for initiating negotiations for the release of the hostages held by Hamas in Gaza.
Also, the IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Herzi Halevi stated that Israel has the potential to decisively conclude the conflict with Hezbollah.
“There is a real possibility of bringing a swift end in the north. We’ve effectively dismantled Hezbollah’s senior leadership,” Halevi remarked during a briefing in the northern Gaza Strip yesterday, in a video released by the IDF.
The IDF reports that approximately 20,000 Palestinians have evacuated the Jabaliya area in northern Gaza as its offensive against Hamas continues.
During the evacuations, 150 terrorists have been detained. The IDF states it is “breaking the Hamas siege on Jabaliya” by facilitating civilian evacuations through safe, organized routes.
Despite Hamas’s attempts to block the exodus, tens of thousands have left.
The IDF is working with international and Gaza health authorities to support hospitals with medical supplies and fuel while coordinating staff and patient evacuations.
The IDF has also released documents alleging six Al Jazeera journalists are operatives for Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad.
The accused journalists are said to hold military roles such as rocket launching and sniper operations. The documents reportedly include personnel spreadsheets and salary records, which the IDF claims prove their involvement in terror activities and propaganda dissemination through Al Jazeera.
Al Jazeera has denied these allegations, accusing Israel of targeting its staff in Gaza following similar accusations earlier this year.
